The NewWeigh linear weigher with 1 vibrating chute between the hopper and weighing tray is particularly suitable for fine-grained products. SHORT LINEAR WEIGHER OUTPUT

Depending on the weight and volume, the maximum output is 20 weighings per minute per weighing head. For higher capacities, weighing machines can be equipped with up to 4 heads, achieving a capacity of up to 80 portions per minute. In addition, various models of linear weighers are available for weights up to 3 kg (8 litre volume) and larger models up to 10 kg (30 litre volume).

OPERATION

The weighing process begins in the weighing machine’s storage bunker, where the product is fed in bulk. The product is then transported to the weighing hopper by means of a vibrating chute with coarse and fine dosing. During coarse dosing, the vibrating chute has a higher amplitude in order to transport approximately 80% of the set weight to the weighing hopper as quickly as possible. This is followed by fine dosing, where the amplitude is lower, thus achieving optimum accuracy. Once the weight has been reached and checked, the weighing hopper is automatically opened and the next weighing cycle begins.

DESIGN AND OPTIONS

NewWeigh weighers are made entirely of stainless steel, with all parts that come into contact with the product made of 304 stainless steel (2B finish). A stainless steel 316 version is also available on request. All contact parts can be treated with Teflon, among other things, to prevent sticking and product build-up. The outside of the hopper and the drop chute can also be coated to reduce noise levels. The pneumatic parts are from Festo, which are widely available and guarantee consistent high quality.

  • Storage of 99 programmes, allowing for quick product changes

  • FTP server for storing all individual weights that can be read remotely
